Our Daily Bread

Do you get your daily Bread from God each morning? Do you pray and ask Him for wisdom, patience and understanding to get through the day? Do you ask Him to guide and guard your steps and decisions? Do you ask Him for a daily does of humility, strength, and perseverance? Do you pray for forgiveness and a clean slate? Do you pray for your family, your friends and those that are in need? Do you pray each day for peace, assurance, and a calm spirit? The disciples in those days did not know how to pray and yet they always saw Jesus go off each day to a quiet place to pray to His Father. One day, He sat them down and said; this is how you should pray to your heavenly father; Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom, The Power, and the Glory for ever and ever. Amen. Jesus had a purpose for prayer. It was always to get guidance, comfort, rest, and direction. We have that same Father to talk to. Spending quiet time with God each day and meditating on His Word is the most important “activity” we have in this life. Nothing compares to it. Lets start each day with some “Daily Bread” from our Heavenly Father and watch what He does. Just like the disciples, God will perform an “extreme makeover” in our lives. God says, Invest some time in me and I will invest some time in you. Do it today! Start Now!
