Double Minded

Don’t live double minded. If we are going to trust, believe and live for God, then lets give Him the right to answer our prayers each day the way He sees fit. Lets give up our rights for the way they turn out. God is alive and well and He is working all things out for our best. We lose our faith the minute something doesn’t go our way or is not being worked out as fast as we think it should. When things don’t go our way, its easy to start to doubt God and question His sovereignty. We need to learn to trust God all the time. In good times and bad times. God says it rains on the just and the unjust. When we live our lives with back and forth faith it produces a really confusing life. Up one day. Down the next. God even tells us not to expect anything from Him when we pray and don’t really believe in His power. Our minds, hearts, and emotions, are swinging all over the place. That’s not the way God wants us to do life. God wants us to completely trust Him when things are good, when things are ok, and when things are challenging. God wants us to know positively (no matter what’s going on in life) that He has got our backs, He is working things for our good, and that He loves us more than anything in this world. He wants good for you and me. God tells us in James 1:6-8 – “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like the waves in an angry Sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” That person should not expect to receive anything from The Lord. He or She is a double-minded person and unstable in all they do. Perfect faith accepts the good and the bad. Perfect faith doesn’t question God each day, wondering why this thing or that thing happened. Perfect faith stays rock solid in good times and bad times waiting and trusting God to work it all out for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to His purposes. Trust God Now… completely.
